What subjects should you choose?

It is always worth considering the subjects you did well at in the Junior Cert.

Subjects that you enjoy:

It is always worth considering the subjects that you enjoyed studying at Junior cert and that are of most interest to you.

Subjects that you require to do a course at Third Level:

 If you want to do engineering in most of Ireland’s universities it would be advisable to do honours maths as it is a requirement, in addition if you wish to do medicine either Biology or Chemistry would be worthwhile studying. If you really want to do a particular course at Third Level it is worthwhile researching what the requirements of that course are and the subjects which might suit that course.

Complete Aptitude Tests and Interest Tests:

You should complete aptitude tests online or in school, this eliminates a great deal of indecision for students and can also help to save a great deal of money, it is estimated that  1 in 3 students drop out of their original course of choice to do another course.
