To gain entry to Medicine in UCD you need to obtain a minimum of an Ordinary Level D3 in Irish, English, Maths and another language. You must also obtain a minimum of a D3 in at least one Science Subject. To enter UCD’s 5 year medical programme, you require a minimum of a C3 at Higher Level in Chemistry and a minimum of a C3 at Higher Level in two of the other six subjects.

To gain entry to Medicine in UCC you need to obtain a minimum of an Higher Level C3 in chemistry and either physics/biology. You must also have passed Irish, English, Maths and another language.
