1. Who corrects the exams?
For our Exam Correction and Feedback Services, we have retained the services of teachers who have previously corrected Leaving Cert and Junior Cert exams for the Department of Education, so all teachers are familiar with the State Marking Scheme.
2. Where do you get the exams from?
All our exams are based on the Department of Education's past papers and they are all corrected in accordance with the relevant marking scheme. We will be adding sample papers in the coming months.
3. Can I do exams by Topic?
We have broken down most subjects so as you can do an exam by topic, i.e. you can do an exam on Patrick Kavanagh in English or an Exam on Respiration in Biology. This allows you the student greater scope to see if their study on a particular topic or area is working.
4. How much does it cost?
For our Exam Correction and Feedback Services, our prices start from €13.95 for Junior Certificate Ordinary level increasing to €24.95 for Leaving Certificate Higher level exams. (see rates for more info) . We have kept our prices cheaper than the cost of grinds, as we understand how difficult things are in this economic climate and we want your euro to go further.
5. Can I do a package of exams?
Yes, you can do a package of exams and if you do six or more you can avail of a 15% discount.
6. Do I have a time limit to send in the exam? No, there is no time limit, once you purchase the exam we have a record of it. You can send it in to us whenever you have it completed. However, please be sure to write the student id, exam id and number each page.
7. How will I know when my exam is corrected?
Once your exam is corrected and your report card has been filled out. You will receive an email telling you to check out your mocks.ie account, that your report card is available for viewing.
1. How does it work?
Students who wish to practice an Oral Exam in Irish, French, German or Spanish can now do so using our excellent new service. Students simply select a suitable available time slot on our timetable. At the designated time you will be required to call our teacher on a designated number - you will get this number verification email once we receive your payment. If you ring from a landline calls will cost no more than a landline to landline call. If you ring from a mobile, calls will cost the price of a mobile to landline call, prices are as determined by your mobile network provider.
2. How long is an Oral Exam?
The duration of each Oral Exam will be between 13 and 15 minutes, similar to the actual Oral. The teacher will ask you all the questions you will be asked in the exam. Each time slot is 20 minutes, so there is plenty of time at the end of the exam for the teacher to give the student feedback.
Once the Oral is completed the teacher will give you instant feedback over the phone giving you your mark and the reasons as to why you have lost marks. They will also fill out a report card giving you a breakdown of marks in each area which will be available in your account.

Our Oral Exam service is €19.95, we have kept our prices cheaper than the cost of grinds, as we understand how difficult things are in this economic climate and we want your euro to go further. However to give you the quality feedback you require we are paying our teachers excellent rates to provide you with this service.

Once your Oral Exam is completed you will receive instant feedback however the teacher will also fill out a report card detailing areas of weakness. You will receive an email telling you to check out your mocks.ie account, that your report card is available for viewing.

Students who wish to practice an Aural Exam in Irish, French, German or Spanish can now do so using our excellent new service. Students can simply pay for Aural credit/credits and then simply select the subject and level they wish to complete. When a student logs on you go to the Aural section and choose the exam you wish to do. You the proceed to the exam and press play, as you listen to the Aural Exam you choose the answer to each question from the drop down menu. Once you have finished the exam press the GET RESULTS button and you are given the corrected answer and solution. You can replay the Aural any time you wish and check your answers against the audio transmission.
