History

The Junior Certificate higher level exam requires the student to answer 6 questions over two and a half hours.

The Junior Certificate ordinary level exam requires the student ot answer 4 questions over an hour and a half.
 

Higher level paper


Q 1 is a pictures question whereby students are required to answer questions that relate to the picture.
 

Q2. Is a documents question, whereby students are required to answer questions that relate to the documents.
 

Q3. These are short answer questions – why not test yourself with mocks.ie’s revision tool?
 

Q4. This question is normally based on People in history.


Q5. & Q6. Are long questions and can be on a range of topics covered throughout the course e.g. Plantations, Renaissance etc.
